If you both decide to come to mediation, generally arrangements for children are resolved after one, sometimes two meetings. Issues about finance and property usually take two or three meetings. Each meeting generally takes one and a half hours.
If you would like a written summary of the proposals reached at mediation the charge for this is usually the same as for a mediation meeting.
Occasionally co-mediation, with two mediators is necessary. The charge for each of you for this is £168 per hour. If this is necessary we will discuss this with you beforehand.
If the other person is eligible for Legal Aid you will have nothing to pay for your Mediation Information and Assessment meeting or your first mediation meeting.
