Jane Wilson qualified as a solicitor in 1980 and is the senior partner. She is a Higher Court Advocate (Civil Proceedings), which gives her the same rights of audience in the civil courts as a barrister. She has also been accredited by Resolution as a specialist in Domestic Abuse cases and in Advocacy in proceedings concerning children. In addition she deals with all issues arising on divorce or separation. She lectures on Domestic Violence Law, writes for Legal Journals and contributed the Domestic Abuse chapter to the Resolution Family Law Handbook published by the Law Society. She brings to her practice of family law a breadth of experience gained in a number of related fields of law when working for City centre and high street firms over the years, both in this country and abroad. She is a member of the Soroptimists and the Border Singers and also plays the flute in a Band. She is a member of the National Committee of Resolution, an organisation of 5,000 family lawyers who are committed to a constructive approach to family problems and campaign for improvements in the family justice system. Jane is chair of the Resolution Domestic Abuse Committee
