Profile: Charles FOX (
Consultant Solicitor and Higher Court Advocate

Charles Fox was born in Macclesfield and trained as a Solicitor in Manchester and Chester before joining Arthur J S Hall & Co. (which subsequently became Hall Smith Whittingham LLP) in 1975. He was a partner for 33 years and for many years was Senior Partner. He formally retired as a partner in 2009 but continues with the firm as a specialised consultant.
Charles is a specialist in all types of Court work and now in particular in claims in the County Court and High Court and in employment law acting for both employers and employees.
He is a part time Judge in the County Court and Crown Courts and is able to appear as an Advocate in all Courts.
He has been actively involved in local activities and has taken a particular interest in sport. He was a founder member of Wistaston Village Cricket Club and was subsequently Captain and Secretary and is now the President.
