I joined Hall Smith Whittingham’s Dispute Resolution Department in April 2016 having previously worked as a Commercial and Civil Litigation Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation Department of a central Liverpool law firm which was recommended for sports law in the legal 500.
Having studied law at Chester College of Law and been resident in the North West both during and after qualification as a Solicitor, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients across the region.
I represent a range of clients including small and medium sized businesses, partnerships, developers, property agents, as well as individuals.
I have had the chance to act in several high profile disputes, including enforcing an £7.2 million pound arbitration award in England which set new legal precedent and successfully opposing a super injunction obtained by a Manchester United footballer!
I advise in a variety of areas of law such as defamation, media and sports law as well as everyday disputes such as landlord and tenant (both residential and commercial), boundary disputes, contested wills and estates, breaches of contract, professional negligence and employment.
I put the interests of my clients first and provide pragmatic, jargon free advice on how best to achieve the outcome they are seeking in the quickest timescale at the lowest cost.

“I felt very supported during a very difficult time”
In my spare time I support (and am regularly disappointed by) Luton Town F.C. I also play badminton and enjoy hiking. During cold winter nights I like reading a book with a nice glass of whisky.
