Solicitor, Member of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)
I’m originally from the North West having been brought up in Liverpool and the Wirral. Having undertaken a Law degree at the University of Birmingham before studying at the College of Law in Chester, I trained with a large commercial law firm in Liverpool, qualifying as a Solicitor in 2004.
I joined Hall Smith Whittingham’s Probate Department in August 2018 having previously worked at leading law firms across the North West and Leeds. I predominantly handle private client work including the drafting of Wills, administration of Estates and post-death variations, preparation and administration of Trusts, Inheritance Tax and Asset Protection planning and Powers of Attorney and Elderly Client matters.
I am qualified as a member of the highly regarded global organisation the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and have also presented at seminars on a wide range of issues including Lasting Powers of Attorney, Wills and Inheritance Tax. I also served as a governor for 4 years, at one of the largest Further Education colleges in Cheshire.
Outside of work, my main interests are sport (athletics, football and tennis), travel both home and abroad and spending time with family and friends. My dream remains to finally see Liverpool lift the Premier League, having barely been out of primary school the last time they won the title!
