RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR/CONVEYANCER
We are looking for proactive property lawyers to join our busy conveyancing department.
Ideal candidates will have experience of managing a busy caseload including freehold and leasehold property. Client care is our priority so you will have excellent communication skills.

PUBLIC LAW/CARE SOLICITOR
We are seeking a Solicitor who has experience of dealing with Public Law Children Act Proceedings namely Pre-Proceedings and Care Court Proceedings with Local Authorities in Cheshire And Staffordshire. We are also seeking somebody who is experienced in also dealing with applications to Discharge of Care Orders / Supervision Orders, Placement Orders and Adoption Orders and who is experienced in acting for parents, children and other family members.
We are preferably looking for somebody who is on the Law Society’s Accredited Children Panel or is looking towards Accreditation to represent both parents and children in Care Proceedings.
We are looking for a candidate who is willing to attend Pre-Proceedings meetings and Court Hearings both virtually and on an attended basis in Cheshire and Merseyside including at Crewe Family Court, Liverpool Family Court, Chester Family Court and Stoke-on-Trent Family Court.
The candidate should also have good drafting skills including but not limited to drafting statements, briefs to counsel, position statements etc.
We are looking for an extremely pro-active individual who is prepared to go the extra mile for our clients who are extremely vulnerable people. If possible the candidate should also be able to deal with care matters involving working with people who may not have capacity and require the Official Solicitor or require the use of interpreters.
The Care Department is paperless and we have a comprehensive case management system with the support of experienced support staff and a trainee solicitor and trainee legal executive.
Home working up to three days is permitted but there is an expectation that the candidate will come into the office more frequently if required as our clients ideally need face to face appointments.
