This week the long awaited changes to Legal Aid came into force. Many more domestic violence victims will now be able to get Legal Aid to pay for the cost of help with divorce proceedings. Also Legal Aid is available for advice and representation at court on financial issues arising from a separation and about where the children live and what time they spend with the other party.
